Today was the last day of school. So no more after school care for six weeks, minus the four days I have to work at our summer program.
I received lots of gifts. A few bottles of rosé, chocolates and a red rose. The most precious of gifts I received were the hugs. Bunches of them.
And the scared and screaming boy calming down while walking hand in hand with me through the park, looking up at me with his big brown eyes and I know everything will be fine.
I'm so gonna miss those kids.
